Dating from 1688, Cami de Bidale is an elegantly restored country house Bed & Breakfast, characterised by high ceilings, oak beams and open fireplaces. The house enjoys a magnificent rural setting, just 8km from Lourdes in the Hautes-Pyrenees department, within the Midi-Pyrenees region.
Mature trees provide shade for the lawns and terraces, and spring water cools the pond. Deer, boar and red squirrel can be spotted roaming the pastures and woodland, whilst birds of prey soar overhead. The Bed & Breakfast rooms have been individually designed, and Occitan names connote their distinct characteristics. Each room has an en-suite bath and/or shower room, including a washbasin and WC. Thermostatic shower taps, towel heaters and hairdryers are standard. Pocket sprung beds and good quality soft furnishings assure a restful night. |

Solana is the largest bedroom and features a sunken bath. Rivatél and Argila have connecting doors, making them ideal for families. With the exception of Cól-Ros, a romantic double, the rooms can be configured as either twins (200x90 beds) or king-size doubles, and feature pillow top mattresses for a seamless transition between the two. |
FoodIn the morning we serve a generous breakfast which includes coffee/tea, juice, baguettes and croissants, fresh fruit, yoghurt and cereals. As a table d'hôtes, our guests can enjoy convivial evening meals at Cami de Bidale. Our seasonal menus feature regional specialities and are served with local wine. Our B&B menus also provide tasty options for vegetarians and guests with food allergies. |

With wonderful scenery and a rich cultural heritage, our area offers a wide range of attractions for the visitor. Nearby Lourdes, just 8km away, boasts a castle, caves and the Pic du Jer funicular as well as the famous shrine. Also close by is Bagneres de Bigorre, an old thermal town with a magnificent modern spa, Aquensis.
Outdoor enthusiasts are particularly well served, especially road cyclists looking to tackle the Cols of Tourmalet, Hautacam, Luz Ardiden & Aubisque. There is also superb hiking, mountain biking, golf and river sports.
The Hautes Pyrenees are a year round destination, and in winter there is great skiing and snowboarding at nearby La Mongie, Hautacam,Cauterets and Luz Ardiden as well as gentler pursuits such as snowshoeing and cross-country skiing.
